Mission Circular Economy
Step by step to the 100% circular goal
Since 2022, the majority of our products have been made with recycled and recyclable resources. We are continuously working to make all our products from 100% recycled or renewable resources to be fully integrated into the circular economy. At the same time, it is our goal to continue to make it as easy as possible to keep food fresh for a long time with the usual quality.

Our mission? To be 100% circular. In the future, our range will only include products that have been made with 100% recycled or renewable resources and are fully recyclable or compostable. And with proven Toppits® quality!
We have already taken an important step in this direction, because many of our products – such as cling film, SafeLoc® freezer bags or zipper® bags – consist of 35% recycled residues. They are reusable and recyclable, so you not only ensure fresh food when you buy it, but also help to conserve valuable raw materials.
Thanks to their protective properties, our Toppits® products also help to reduce food waste – in the spirit of "Save Food".
In this way, we want to become part of a circular economy where everything can be reused and nothing has to be thrown away.
The mission 100% Circular is also part of our Toppits® sustainability strategy. In doing so, we have set ourselves the goal of sustainably optimizing all areas of the Toppits® product life. THE RECYCLING CYCLE WITH TOPPITS®
Not only do we use recycled resources to make our products, but we are also constantly working to ensure that all our products can be reintegrated into the cycle after use. This process is also known as the recycling cycle: waste is turned into a usable resource that is returned directly to the production cycle. And this is exactly what we take into account during product development in order to enable easy disposal and thus recycling. We also provide detailed information on our product packaging and website on how to properly dispose of and separate the different materials.
REUSE INSTEAD OF THROWING AWAY With TOPPITS®
Proper disposal is one thing, but it's even better if products can be reused, extending their lifespan. Many of our Toppits® products are already easy to clean, making them perfect for multiple use.
Our Zipper® All-Purpose Bag can even be cleaned in the dishwasher! Once the products have fulfilled their task in the kitchen – for example, after keeping herbs fresh or freezing food leftovers – they can be reused even before they go through the recycling cycle.
How? Use our Toppits® Zipper®All-Purpose Pouches for example:
- To store your e-reader on the beach. This means that it remains sand and water-free, but can still be easily navigated from the outside!
- As a travel companion in your hand luggage: Instead of throwing creams, lip balm and make-up loosely into your hand luggage, keep them tidy by storing them in the zipper® all-purpose bag.
- As an airbag for delicious snacks in between: With a little trick, you can turn the zipper® all-purpose bag into an air cushion that protects particularly soft fruit or sandwiches from being crushed in the backpack.

- Find out about the regulations on the subject of recyclable material disposal in your region
- Set up a special trash can for different recyclables
- Separate the products from each other before you recycle them – for example, don't put several freezer bags inside each other
- Make a note of the dates for collecting your waste
- Remember to clean the recyclables before you recycle them
- Form the aluminum foil into a ball after use, so that it can be recognized more easily by the waste disposal company
