  • Chop large pieces of fruit into slices / cubes, e.g. pears, mango
  • Freeze small fruits whole, e.g. strawberries, raspberries
  • Freeze puree, e.g. apple puree

  • Products with a high fat content, such as cream, butter and mascarpone, can be frozen without problem
  • Separate cheese slices with sandwich paper or baking paper to remove them more easily
  • Hard cheese in one piece can become crumbly, so grate it before freezing

Tip: By rubbing the grated cheese together it will again be possible to sprinkle it!

Fish:

  • Always freeze fish fillets individually so they can be removed individually. If necessary separate the fillets with sandwich paper or baking paper
  • Put in freezer bags
  • Scale whole, ready to eat fish before freezing

Tip: Before freezing, dip in icy water, wrap in clingfilm then put in a freezer bag
