Add some oil to the classic pesto ingredient when freezing, instead of just freezing individual leaves: purée with oil, form small blobs on a tray using a disposable piping bag (Toppits) and then freeze. Store the portions in Freeze Boxes or freezer bags and use as required to spice up your meals.
