Ingredients:

8 Toppits Tart Cups

For the mixture:

  • 150 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 75 g cold butter

For the filling:

  • 150 g spinach, roughly chopped (frozen)
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 100 g smoked salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g fresh cheese
  • Salt, freshly ground pepper
  • nutmeg, ground

Preparation:

 

  1. Knead the ingredients until smooth and add 1-2 tbsp. of cold water.
  2. Divide the dough into eight parts, form each into the size of the tart cups with sides, and place in the cups.
  3. Sauté the spinach in hot butter and cook for approx. five minutes. Cut the smoked salmon into thin strips and add.
  4. Mix together egg and fresh cheese, then season everything to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  5. Pour filling onto the base and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (Gas: mark 4, convection oven 160°C) for approx. 30-35 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
